Southern Beef Stew


This recipe creates a delicious Beef Stew with rich gravy sauce. Guaranteed
To warm your bones on the coldest of Winter days

1   To 2 Lbs. Extra Lean Stew Beef Or Sirloin Tips
4   Tbs. Olive Oil
1   29oz. Can Veg-All Home-style Vegetables
1   8 Oz. Can Of Stewed Tomatoes
Tsp. Salt
1   Tbs. Minced Parsley
1   Cup All Purpose Flour
Fresh Ground Pepper To Taste

Cut meat into 1" cubes and rinse with cold water. Pat dry with a paper towel,
and dip meat into flour until covered .

Heat oil over medium heat in skillet.  Brown meat, then remove from grease
and drain in colander or on paper towels.  Use grease in the skillet and
remaining flour and make a thin gravy adding water as needed.  Add the meat
and canned veg-all to the mix and heat thoroughly.  Now add the stewed tomatoes,
salt, fresh ground pepper, and parsley.  Reduce heat and simmer for 15 to 20
minutes, stirring occasionally
