Georgia Pecan Pie

This is a pure Southern Delight! Serve slices alone, or
with a dollop of whipped cream or ice cream.

Pastry for 2 Single Crust Pies
2-1/2 Tbs. Plain Flour
2/3 Cup Granulated Sugar
4 Eggs (lightly beaten)
1/4 Cup Softened Butter Or Margarine
2/3 Cup Broken Pecan Pieces
1-1/3 Cup Clear Karo Syrup

Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Combine flour, sugar and a pinch of salt. In a separate bowl combine eggs and butter, then stir in the flour mixture, corn syrup, and pecans. Pour into two 9" pie pastries. Bake at 375 degrees for 10 minutes, then lower the temperature to 350 degrees and continue to bake 50 minutes longer.

It is very important to follow the timing and temperatures. Nobody
likes a runny pecan pie!
