Gregs Hiking Links

Of course, no website of mine is
complete without a link the the USDA Forest Service. PLEASE VOLUNTEER!!! There
are plenty of miles of trails and not enough people. Even if you just pick up trash
on your dayhike, every little bit helps and is appreciated. Oh yeah, did I mention
they need volunteers???
If I send you to the main website, I must also send you to my local
heroes. The Chattahoochie National Forest in North Georgia has great hills and
beautiful valleys. A great guide to help you begin your Georgia mountain
exploration.
Smokey Bear website gives you more kid related information
and stuff. Good website for general info about our favorite bear. Go Bear
go!!!
mountainzone.com is a great website for everything from buying socks to
watching Mt. Everest coverage on the Internet (and the gear to get there!!!). If you
need it and want to buy it over the Internet, they will have it.
And of course, my new favorite bird, the Peregrine Falcon.
The
ABC new article about coming off of the endangered list.
Discovery gives a good
history of the Peregrine Falcon.
The Endangered Species Website.
